The position

This position will focus on identifying and cultivating outbound leads, crushing sales quotas and ongoing account management. You will use your incredible communication, story-telling and influence to cultivate strong relationships with potential customers, from first contact until you close the deal. You will understand the competitive landscape and know how to handle customer objections to keep moving the opportunities toward close. The most successful candidates will be experts in value selling. You should understand how to extract information from potential customers and tailor your pitch and your product demonstrations to align with your prospects desired outcomes.

 

Expectations

  • Own the client acquisition sales process from initial contact to deal close
  • Maintain and expand your database of prospects and grow your database when you see opportunity by researching accounts, key players, drivers and generate interest
  • Proactively outreach through cold calls, virtual meetings, emails and social channels
  • Organize and document in our CRM with notes and follow-up
  • Identify client needs and use value selling to suggest solutions
  • Build long-term trusting relationships with prospects
  • Schedule compelling online demos to prospects
  • Close deals and achieve quarterly and annual sales quotas
  • Management of LinkedIn for prospecting and sharing info
  • Create, provide and maintain reporting using best practice metrics for the entire customer journey.

 

Must have:

  • 3+ years demonstrable sales experience
  • LinkedIn account
  • CRM experience
  • Experience working with one or any combination of: Direct Sales/MLM, Ecom/Retail, Tech
  • Excellent writing and sales skills
  • Excellent people and influencing skills
  • Ability to edit Google Slides and customize by pitch/client
  • Results and data driven

 

Good to have (not required):

  • Current client database reaching established retailers
  • Content marketing experience and demonstrated creation and management of professional social media accounts
  • Multi-lingual
  • Tech savvy
  • Entrepreneur mentality
  • Strategic insights a plus
  • Understanding and experience with WooCommerce and/or Shopify

What are you selling?

Our mission is to provide practical training to empower Modern Direct Sellers to reach their big goals and find success in direct sales. Within our company, we support individual direct sellers in our signature offering, the Modern Direct Seller Academy. This role focuses on expanding our B2B SaaS program for direct sales companies by licensing the various software and training products under the Modern Direct Seller Brand, including but not limited to DirectFlo, an all-in-one solution to quickly, seamlessly and successfully launch a direct sales channel.

Location: This is a remote, full-time position with unlimited room to grow! No agencies, please.

We are located in San Diego, CA and primarily work between 8AM and 2PM Pacific Monday thru Friday. When you choose to work is flexible, but you need to have a few hours of availability during our normal work time to support meetings, collaborate, etc.
